Job Details

The Opportunity:
This executive leadership role oversees all construction operations from project kickoff through completion while ensuring exceptional client experiences, outstanding craftsmanship, and operational excellence.

You'll provide leadership across Project Management, Field Operations, Preconstruction, Scheduling, Quality, Safety, and Strategic Planning while helping create the systems and structure needed to support continued growth.

You'll work directly with ownership, influence company strategy, and play a critical role in scaling a highly respected luxury construction business.

What You'll Lead:
Construction Operations:
  • Oversee delivery of multiple luxury residential projects from contract through closeout
  • Lead Project Managers and Field Leadership teams
  • Balance schedules, manpower, subcontractors, and resources across active projects
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to exceptional quality standards
  • Resolve operational challenges before they impact clients or schedules

Field Leadership:
  • Lead superintendent teams through coaching, accountability, and mentorship
  • Establish field expectations around quality, communication, and execution
  • Strengthen subcontractor partnerships and performance standards
  • Maintain a visible presence in the field and build strong relationships with project teams

Operational Excellence:
  • Improve scheduling, reporting, forecasting, and project management systems
  • Develop operational processes that support sustainable growth
  • Lead production meetings, project reviews, and operational planning sessions
  • Monitor project health, capacity planning, and company-wide resource allocation

Executive Leadership:
  • Partner closely with the CEO on strategic planning and business decisions
  • Identify operational opportunities and remove organizational bottlenecks
  • Help shape workforce planning, market growth, and long-term operational strategy
  • Provide honest, data-driven insight that supports sound decision making

Business Development & Industry Relationships:
  • Represent the company within the architecture, design, and construction community
  • Strengthen relationships with architects, consultants, and key trade partners
  • Support business development through trusted industry relationships
  • Help position the company for continued growth in existing and future markets

What We're Looking For:
  • We're searching for an operational leader who combines executive-level thinking with hands-on leadership.

You should bring:
  • 10+ years leading luxury residential construction projects
  • Experience managing both Project Management and Field Operations teams
  • Proven success building operational systems within a growing organization
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Experience improving processes while maintaining exceptional client service
  • Ability to lead through influence, accountability, and trust
  • Comfort working in an entrepreneurial environment where you'll help build the next stage of the business
  • Experience with construction management platforms such as Procore or similar software is highly valued.
