Long standing local company is seeking a General Manager to lead commercial HVAC service operations for a well-established and growing mechanical contracting company. Responsibilities of the Service Operations Manager will include:
Lead and coordinate daily commercial HVAC service operations
Manage service activities to ensure exceptional customer service, operational efficiency, and profitability

Evaluate customer needs and develop technical solutions and service proposals
Oversee service estimates and support project planning activities
Collaborate with engineering, sales, and operations teams to ensure successful project execution

Qualifications for the role of Service Operations Manager:
Required:
5+ years of commercial or industrial HVAC service experience
Strong knowledge of commercial boilers, burners, controls, chillers, air handlers, piping systems, and mechanical room equipment
Experience identifying customer needs and developing technical service solutions
Ability to interpret and apply applicable codes and standards
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Strong customer service focus with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Preferred:
Engineering background related to commercial or industrial boiler systems
Experience preparing estimates and developing customer proposals
