Embassy Suites by Hilton Alexandria Old Town is seeking an experienced and motivated General Manager to lead our upscale all-suite hotel. This role is ideal for a hands-on hospitality leader passionate about guest satisfaction, operational excellence, team development, and financial performance. The General Manager will oversee daily hotel operations, drive revenue and service goals, uphold Hilton brand standards, and foster a positive, high-performing culture. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership skills, a collaborative mindset, and a proven ability to elevate both team engagement and overall hotel performance in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

What are we looking for?

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 years'' Hotel Manager or 3 years' Executive Member experience managing a property with $30 Million or greater revenue
  • Experience managing owner relations and fostering positive partnerships
  • Thoughtful people leadership with a demonstrated track record of driving engagement and overseeing high-performing teams
  • Solid commercial acumen with expertise in financial oversight and revenue optimization

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated success leading hotels through renovation or capital improvement phases, with the ability to collaborate with ownership, lenders, and brand partners throughout planning and execution

As General Manager, your responsibilities will also include:

  • Managing and optimizing hotel operations: You will lead the hotel with strategic oversight of all departments - ensuring alignment with Hilton brand standards.   • Communicating with key stakeholders: As the primary point of contact for hotel owners and Hilton's corporate leadership, you will be responsible for maintaining alignment on business goals, operational strategies, and performance expectations. You will deliver regular updates, collaborate on long-term planning, and act as a trusted advisor, ensuring transparency and partnership at every level.
  • Leading and developing on-property teams: You will cultivate a high-performing, people-first culture by recruiting top talent, championing diversity and inclusion, and supporting the professional development of every team member. Through performance management, coaching, and recognition programs, you''ll inspire engagement, accountability, and continuous growth.
