    Description

    We are looking for a General Manager for the Americas operation. This person should have experience in a technical product environment with strategic, project sales, management, and operations experience. This is a full-time position with a start date adjustable to your current notice period. Similar experience in the manufacturing sector is preferable but not essential.

    The ideal candidate should be able to:
    ● Exhibit a high level of ambition, professionalism, and a strategic approach
    ● Develop and implement a strategic growth plan
    ● Coordinate and oversee the various engineering and office administration and financial functions, and drive/structure improvement.
    ● Understand Project Management, and ability to monitor projects and influence outcomes.
    ● Understanding of financial reports and to help develop budgets.
    ● Oversee and help drive sales development with both existing customers/industries and new market segments for both new projects and aftermarket.
    ● Conduct environmental, market, industry and competitor analysis.
    ● Implement of sales strategies, including target establishment and analysis of results
    ● Establish best practices and KPIs in all areas of the operation.
    ●Understand and negotiate contracts.
    ● Exhibit excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively and establish/maintain relationships with customers, suppliers and staff.
    ● Exhibit proactivity in solving problems.
    ● Participate in Industry Associations to establish/maintain relationships and stay in tune with industry and market developments as well as legislative/regulatory trends and issues.

    Qualifications:
    ● A technical and/or business/economics degree
    ● Strong base in a manufacturing environment
    ● Technical understanding of sales in the municipal environmental industry or equivalent industry
    ● Experience negotiating technical and commercial terms
    ● Microsoft Office Suite skills
    ● Strong verbal and written communication skills
