The General Manager will lead and scale a fast‑growing aviation MRO operation, with full responsibility for operational performance, regulatory compliance, workforce development, and P&L results. This role requires a hands‑on, "player‑coach" leader who can operate strategically while stepping into the business as needed to remove bottlenecks and drive execution.

Description
The General Manager will report directly into the Vice President and be responsible for:
- Own full P&L responsibility, driving safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.
- Lead day‑to‑day MRO operations to ensure on‑time delivery, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction.
- Identify and eliminate production constraints in a high‑growth, labor‑constrained environment.
- Lead, coach, and develop a growing workforce, with a strong emphasis on training early‑career talent.
- Foster a culture of safety, accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
- Act as the senior site leader for audit readiness, inspections, and CAPA execution.
- Promote and reinforce a "zero harm" safety culture across the operation.
- Lead Lean and continuous improvement initiatives to increase capacity, productivity, and scalability.
- Develop and execute strategies to balance demand growth with labor, tooling, and facility limits.
- Collaborate with executive leadership on long‑term growth planning, capital investments, and capability expansion.
- Serve as a senior point of contact for customers, ensuring strong communication and effective issue resolution.
- Partner cross‑functionally with engineering, quality, supply chain, and commercial teams to align priorities and deliver results.

Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Aviation, Operations, Business, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience within MRO, aviation, manufacturing, or another regulated industrial environment.
- Proven success leading teams through growth, change, and operational constraints.
- Strong understanding of aviation regulatory environments and repair station operations.
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
- FAA Repairman Certificate preferred but not required.
