Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking a General Manager 1 - Multi-Service for Holy Family Manor located in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.  Holy Family Manor embraces a model of care that provides residents with a more home-like environment and treats residents like family. The General Manager of MultiService will oversee dining operations, housekeeping and laundry operations at this 240 resident senior living facility.  Will report to the District Manager and manage 3 managers with a Sodexo hourly staff of approximately 45 employees. 

 

What You'll Do

  • evaluate and develop service levels for the overall resident meal service and housekeeping program targeted to exceed resident and customer satisfaction;
  • collaborate with clinical, food service and interdisciplinary teams to enhance the resident experience;
  • ensure food quality and presentation;
  • provide a clean and safe environment for residents, visitors and staff;
  • exceed Sodexo standards for Gold Checks and achieve successful regulatory inspections and audits; and
  • perform management functions that include employee development.

What You Bring

  • passion for our residents and customers to ensure our Sodexo CARES (Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Enthusiasm and Service) behaviors are followed daily;
  • a dietary manager certification (CDM) or are CDM eligible; or must complete within one year;
  • prior food service management skills at General Manager/Director level, preferably in health care food service environment; and
  • prior environmental services experience is helpful;
  • a strong financial acumen and budget management experience; and
  • excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to maintain the highest of standards and implement company policies.
