Assist skilled workers with repair and maintenance of district facilities including repairing woodwork replacing electrical switches fixtures and motors painting repairing and replacing plumbing fixtures and drainage systems and replacing broken glass.2. Inspect building exterior and interior playground equipment and grounds perform maintenance and minor repairs.3. Detect and report needed major repairs on building structures and their systems including lockers furniture and equipment.4. Complete repairs as requested on work orders.5. Collaborates closely with the Department&rsquos Leads regarding routine maintenance as well as preventive maintenance.6. Demonstrates quality customer service daily.7. Assist with relocation of furnishings such as desks tables chairs file cabinets etc.8. Move install assemble and repair all school furniture and playground equipment as needed.9. Hang pictures mirrors whiteboards bulletin boards projection screens towel dispensers soap dispensers and other items as required.10. Installdoor and window assemblies and hardware including window glass and screens.11. Install ceiling and flooring materials.12. Is committed to working safely at all times.13. Uses iPad and work order system to communicate and process work orders to completion.14. Gathers materials and tools necessary to complete work orders.15. May interact with department staff head custodian building administrator vendors and contractors occasionally.16. Uses department&rsquos work order system to manage productivity and efficiency of facility repairs and daily operations.
