EMR USA is seeking a reliable and hardworking General Laborer to support the daily operations of our yard. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, safety-conscious, and capable of completing tasks independently while contributing to a team.
Responsibilities
Assist with general housekeeping duties throughout the yard
Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment
Clean and prepare work areas by removing debris and potential hazards
Support basic maintenance and upkeep of equipment
Clean barges and various equipment as needed
Follow all operating procedures and health & safety guidelines
Perform additional duties as assigned
Required Skills & Abilities
Ability to use a variety of hand tools (e.g., snip cutters, brooms, shovels)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong work ethic and attention to safety
Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Ability to work overhead, climb ladders, kneel, and stand for extended periods
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED (required)
Previous forklift experience preferred
