General Laborers are responsible for assisting in digging, grading, guiding equipment operators, providing manual work with items including, but not limited to, hand tools, power tools, jack hammers, shovels, and compactors. A physical ability to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions (windy, wet, damp, humid, hot, cold, etc.) and lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis. General laborers need to have a strong work ethic and attention to detail. This job description is meant to provide a basic understanding of the job requirements other duties and tasks maybe required.
Qualifications
- Self-Motivated and willing to work
- Follow instructions from supervisors to perform manual labor tasks
- Ability to understand verbal and written instructions in English
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have a valid driver's license and able to operate a company vehicle
- Have a reliable form of transportation
- Ability to pass drug test (If required)
- Must be fit for duties outlined above
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
- US work authorization (Required)
Compensation\Schedule
- $18 - $22 per hour DOQ
- Overtime is available
- Schedule M-F however, we try to work 4X10 work week
- Weekends - as needed or emergency call out basis
