General Laborer
Location: Carrollton, KY
Duration: 3-month contract
Pay Rate: $19.25/hr (W2)
Job Summary:
Seeking a General Laborer with warehouse and forklift experience to support outbound order processing in an industrial gypsum production environment. The role involves manual labor and machinery operation to load products onto trucks, rail cars, and ocean flats.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and load outbound customer orders efficiently
- Operate forklifts and other equipment safely
- Handle materials manually in a fast-paced industrial setting
- Load products onto various transportation modes (truck, rail, ocean)
- Maintain safety and quality standards, including working at heights
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of experience in a shipping/loading warehouse environment
- Forklift operation experience required
- Comfortable working at heights
- Ability to perform physical labor and operate machinery
Schedule:
- Start time: 6:50 a.m.; typical end time: 3:00 p.m. 4:00 p.m., or until work is completed (end times may vary)
- Monday Friday schedule with occasional overtime as needed, including some Saturdays
