About the Opportunity
Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring General Laborers for a packaging company in Hutchinson, MN. In this role, you'll support production operations in the Finishing Department by helping maintain workflow, productivity, and safety standards across multiple production areas. What You'll Do as a General Laborer:

Rotate between production departments to support daily operational needs
Perform general labor duties including material handling, packing, labeling, and assembling products
Feed machines and assist with production processes as needed
Assist with line setup, cleanup, and changeovers
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following OSHA standards
Follow quality standards, work instructions, and safety procedures
Complete production documentation and communicate effectively with team members

What You Need to Bring to the General Laborer Role:

Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions
Must have basic math, reading, and communication skills
Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
Must be able to stand and move throughout the work area for the duration of the shift
Willingness to learn production processes and machine operation
Willingness to work overtime as needed
Entry-level candidates are welcome to apply – no prior manufacturing experience required
