AMBULATORY INTERNAL MEDICINE OPPORTUNITY IN THE HEART OF THE MIDWEST
The University of Nebraska Medical Center is recruiting a dynamic physician for an ambulatory general Internal Medicine position located in Omaha, Nebraska. The selected candidate will join a team of specialists with many years of experience in complex cases providing exceptional care for adults. Highlights of this opportunity include:
• Outpatient only - flexible scheduling with two half days protected administrative and academic time. No nights or weekends. Infrequent outpatient telephone call. • Gradual build up to manageable patient load in a team-based patient-centered medical home practice. • Wide range of practice from annual checkups for young adults to chronic medical conditions. • Collaborative culture and collegial environment with opportunities for personal and professional development. • Preceptor supervision of students/residents in clinic is available if desired.
The successful candidate must be an MDDO or equivalent degree who is board certified/eligible in Internal Medicine. Candidates should have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills along with enthusiasm for outpatient internal medicine. Our compensation package is extremely competitive.
