Position Overview

As a General Field Assistant, you will support our GPR Technicians and Concrete Coring Technicians in the field. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in the construction industry while learning specialized technical skills.

No two days are the same. You may be assisting with equipment setup, helping locate utilities, supporting concrete drilling operations, documenting field findings, maintaining tools, or traveling to project sites throughout Arizona.

Responsibilities

  • Assist GPR and concrete coring technicians on job sites
  • Load, unload, and maintain equipment and vehicles
  • Help set up and operate specialized scanning and locating equipment
  • Support concrete coring and drilling operations
  • Read basic construction drawings and site plans
  • Document field activities and project information
  • Maintain a safe and professional work environment
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and customers
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Requirements


  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in Arizona weather
  • Ability to travel locally to project sites
  • Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and basic computer programs
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Construction experience is helpful but not required
  • Mechanical aptitude is a plus

This position has a base pay of $23 - $25 per hour DOE, plus a bonus structure.
