General Assistant Coach /7-12 Teacher

Hamlin Collegiate ISD is seeking a dynamic, energetic and dedicated leader to serve as teacher and coach beginning with the 2026 - 2027 school year. POSITION TITLE: Boys General Assistant Coaching/Certified Teacher Grades 7-12 (Endlish,Science, Social Studies, AVID).

LOCATION: Hamlin Collegiate ISD School

SALARY: Competitive Salary ($4000 above base salary, District paid Employee insurance premiums ($449), $500 Retention stipend, Coaching stipends for head and assistant positions

LENGTH OF CONTRACT: 10 1/2 months

POSITION SUMMARY:

Reports to the High School Principal and Athletic Director

Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior

Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.

Provide instruction and coach students to develop skills and ability to excel in sport assigned.

Contribute to education program as a whole and to growth of students involved in athletics.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university

Valid Texas teaching certificate for categories listed

CDL/Passenger, School Bus endorsements
