The Division of Fiscal Services is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Office Technician (Typing) to provide support to all staff within the General Accounting Branch. This position serves as the Branch timekeeper, correspondence and training coordinator, and manages office supply procurement in compliance with established procedures within a hybrid work environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong clerical, organizational, and communication skills, along with initiative, professionalism, tact, and the ability to work independently under tight deadlines while performing a widerange of technical and administrative duties with minimal supervision.

The ideal candidate is team-oriented and possesses strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills. Candidates should have a working knowledge of word processing techniques and procedures, as well as effective grammar, writing, and verbal communication skills. Candidates should also have general clerical, correspondence preparation, supply procurement, and time keeping experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, workflow applications, and automated fiscal systems is highly desirable.
Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to interpret and apply procedures and instructions, use resource materials effectively, exercise sound judgment, and maintain dependable attendance. Knowledge of State organizational structure and policies is preferred. The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external contacts at all levels, while providing professional and responsive customer service, is essential.
