GDPR activities including, but not necessarily limited to, the following:

  • Orientation & Discovery
    • Establish program cadence and weekly / recurring schedule in concert with adjacent workstreams
    • Perform initial governance, risk, and compliance evaluations
    • Inventory all pertinent frameworks, app constructs, security procedures, etc.
    • Perform a compare/contrast against in-place policies vs. GDPR mandate
    • Conduct scenario-based exercises for data handling measures - guide and formalize strategies based on the outcomes of these walk-throughs
  • Definition of Data Standards & Process
    • Work with stakeholders on data definitions and common language
    • Compare/contrast GDPR-specific information / data vs. non-qualified to GDPR standards
    • Build a working version glossary / index of data mediums applicable to GDPR standards
    • Evaluate and confirm all relevant toolsets, third-party apps, vendor integrations, etc. affecting or influencing GDPR compliances
  • Outline Next Steps
    • Assemble all supporting documentation in tandem to stakeholders for model build and longevity for operational processes
    • Outline recommendations for the next course of action and/or any executable steps to be taken for continuity purposes; provide estimates (time/budget) to support
    • Perform project closure and hand-off meetings
