Under general supervision, analyzes enterprise-wide customer business needs and participates in the planning, design and implementation of new or enhanced systems that may serve multiple state entities.
The primary responsibility of this role will be analyzing IT project initiation requests and compiling documentation necessary to support new IT procurements, contracts, or in-house system development initiatives. The Business Analyst will work closely under the guidance of the IT BA Manager, and successfully collaborate with business stakeholders, relevant IT teams, to gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience facilitating workshops, conducting interviews, documenting current and future state processes, defining functional and non-functional requirements, and supporting software development lifecycle (SDLC) activities.

HYBRID in Office 1 day Onsite per week and remote rest of the days
Key Responsibilities:
oooooooooo IT Procurement & Vendor Support
Support the development of Statements of Work (SOW), solicitation documents, procurement packages, and related artifacts.
Primarily support IT acquisitions involving software, hardware, professional services, or technology solutions.
Assist in gathering documentation and information from vendors, contractors, and business stakeholders.
Collaborate with IT, Procurement, Legal, Security, and technical teams to support vendor evaluations and procurement activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
5 + Years, Experience working as an IT Business Analyst supporting IT projects, system implementations, or technology procurements.
5 + Years, Strong understanding of business/data process analysis methodologies and SDLC processes.
5 + Years, Experience facilitating stakeholder meetings, workshops, and JAD sessions.
5 + Years, Ability to gather, document, and manage complex business, data, and functional requirements.
5 + Years, Experience developing process flows, workflow diagrams, and functional specifications.
5 + Years, Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
5 + Years, Ability to work collaboratively with business and technical stakeholders.
5 + Years, Experience supporting procurement documentation, vendor coordination, or contract-related activities is preferred.
5 + Years, Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid project methodologies is preferred.
5 + Years, Documenting AS IS & TO BE Process & User Interface Mockups.
5+ Years Experience in developing statements/scope of work for contracting and procurement.
