Compensation: 50-65/hr Overview
Seeking a Cloud Engineer with strong Google Cloud Platform (GCP) experience to support cloud infrastructure, security, automation, and operational excellence. This role will partner with engineering teams to build and maintain secure, scalable, and reliable cloud environments.
Responsibilities
  • Design, deploy, and support GCP infrastructure and networking solutions.
  • Manage IAM, security controls, firewalls, DNS, load balancing, and cloud connectivity.
  • Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
  • Support monitoring, logging, troubleshooting, and operational performance.
  • Integrate infrastructure changes into CI/CD pipelines using Git and automation tools.
  • Administer Linux environments and develop automation using scripting tools.
  • Document cloud architecture, processes, and operational standards.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of hands-on GCP infrastructure experience.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud networking, security, and IAM.
  • Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices.
  • Experience with Git-based workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Google Cloud certification(s).
  • Experience with Python and/or Bash scripting.
  • Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, or container-based platforms.
  • Background in DevOps, cloud automation, and platform engineering.
