Job Description

A large security client is looking for a Sire Reliability Engineering Architect to join their growing team. This individual will be responsible for setting the vision for the SRE organization by bringing cloud architecture expertise and business knowledge to help create strategic decisions that will further the infrastructure's scalability, reliability, and durability. You will work to standardize the technology stack and provide a consistent workflow for development teams to interface with SRE. Duties will include improving the whole life cycle of services from inception to design, through deployment, operation, and refinement; ensure software deployment pipelines fit organizational needs and workflow; utilize automation to reduce operational overhead; and work with quality engineering teams to build tools and testing strategies for problem prevention, detection, and chaos testing. Beyond this, you will identify observability gaps and establish SLIs and SLOs for services being designed and lead proof-of-concept activities. This role is Remote but must be within commuting distance to the following cities: Blue Bell, PA, Plano, TX, Boca Raton, FL for a future hybrid schedule.

Skills and Requirements

7-12 years of experience

High proficiency with the following:

Network design

Kubernetes Containerization

IaC tools (Terraform)

Configuration Management

Scripting (Python and Ruby)

Observability

Service Mesh

SRE Principles

GCP Architect experience

Highly technical and need to have senior level SRE experience and have demonstrated the ability to build/design tools to support development teams. null
