We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Gastroenterology Physician to join our esteemed medical team at Moses Cone Hospital. Required Skills:
- Board Certification in Gastroenterology or related specialty
- Valid State Medical License; IMLC acceptance preferred
- Proficiency in ERCP and EUS procedures
- DEA certification
- Experience with EPIC EMR system (preferred)
- Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Nice to Have Skills:
- Previous experience in hospital-based inpatient care
- Additional certifications or specialized training in advanced endoscopy
- Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience performing ERCP and EUS procedures in a hospital setting
- Proven track record of providing high-quality patient care in gastroenterology
Other Requirements:
- Must comply with all vaccination requirements
- Willingness to obtain licensing if needed, with privileging time within 60-90 days
- Valid DEA license for prescribing medications
- Travel flexibility for coverage at Moses Cone and Wesley Long Hospitals, including flights, rental cars, and lodging when applicable
