Gastroenterology Physician Assistant/PA or Nurse Practitioner Sign On Bonus: $10,000
Danbury Hospital, part of Nuvance Health, has an excellent opportunity for a full-time Gastroenterology Physician Assistant/PA or Nurse Practitioner in Danbury, CT. Come join us on our exciting journey as we grow the Digestive Health Institute at Nuvance Health by joining our Nuvance Health Medical Practice Gastroenterology Department. The position includes seeing patients both in the outpatient office and hospital with a Monday-Friday workday schedule with no call responsibility.
The ideal candidate will be a board-certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with at least one year of experience in Internal Medicine and/or Gastroenterology. This is an employed position that includes a comprehensive benefits package as well as allowances for CMEs and dues. Our employed Medical Group includes 1,000 physicians and advanced practice providers serving a geographically broad region throughout eastern New York and western Connecticut.
Job Requirements
Our practice is affiliated with Danbury Hospital. Established in 1885, Danbury Hospital is a not-for-profit community hospital providing Greater Danbury area residents convenient access to exceptional care. Danbury Hospital has 371 beds and is a Level II Trauma Center with approximately 70,000 ED visits per year. As a teaching hospital, we are associated with the University of Vermont College of Medicine, Ross University, American University of the Caribbean, and Yale School of Medicine. Our employed Medical Group includes 1,000 physicians and advanced practice providers serving a geographically broad region throughout Western Connecticut and eastern New York.
Danbury, Connecticut, is located in the foothills of the Berkshire Mountains and on the border of New York State, about 60 miles northeast of New York City. As part of the greater NY metropolitan area, the region enjoys both proximity to New York City culture and access to a wide array of four-season recreational activities. The area offers highly rated public and private school options and universities. Boston, New York City, New Haven, and Hartford are easily accessible from this area.
