Job Description
We are seeking a full-time Gastroenterologist to join its multi-specialty group serving Jamestown and surrounding lakefront communities in Western New York. This role involves providing comprehensive gastrointestinal care within a network of primary care physicians, surgeons, and specialists. Responsibilities
- Diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions
- Provide both inpatient and outpatient GI care as needed
- Perform GI procedures appropriate to training and specialty
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians and advanced practice providers
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a community-based setting
- Participate in maintaining clinical excellence and adherence to best practices
- Support continuity of care across the GLPP network
Requirements
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology (implied standard requirement)
- Ability to obtain a medical license (New York) if not already licensed
- Strong clinical skills in general gastroenterology
- Commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care
- Ability to work effectively within a multi-specialty, team-based environment
