Gas Meter Technician
About the Role
American Energy Resources is hiring Gas Meter Technicians in the Winston-Salem area. In this role, you will install and replace gas meters while working outdoors as part of a field technician team.
This is a hands-on position ideal for individuals who enjoy physical work, mechanical tasks, and working in a team-based environment.
What You’ll Do
- Install and replace gas meters in residential and commercial settings.
- Perform outdoor field work in varying weather conditions.
- Follow all company and job site safety procedures.
- Work as part of a technician team to complete daily assignments.
- Maintain a professional and safety-compliant appearance.
- Represent the company professionally when interacting with customers.
What We’re Looking For
- A valid driver’s license is required for job-related travel.
- Ability to perform the essential job functions of this role with or without reasonable accommodation, including physical outdoor work throughout the duration of the shift.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Mechanical aptitude is preferred but not required.
