Join our team as a Gas Appliance Assembly Specialist and put your hands-on skills to work transforming parts into finished, customer-ready products. In this role, you’ll be a key player in assembling, testing, and preparing gas appliances for shipment — work that directly impacts quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
A day in the role
You start your shift reviewing detailed work instructions and collecting tools and fixtures for the day’s build. You carefully assemble components, checking fit and finish at each step. When a unit is complete, you run functional, safety, and quality tests — confirming performance before moving to final pack-off and shipment preparation. Throughout the day, you keep your station clean and organized, jump in to guide teammates when needed, and connect with engineering, quality, and materials to keep production flowing smoothly.
What you'll do
- Assemble gas appliances using the appropriate tools, fixtures, and documented procedures
- Conduct hands-on testing to verify function, safety, and overall quality
- Complete final pack-off and prepare finished products for shipment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
- Support and mentor teammates as needed to meet goals
- Collaborate closely with engineering, quality, and materials teams
What you bring
- Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort with hands-on assembly
- Attention to detail and a commitment to high standards
- Ability to work independently while following precise instructions
- Willingness to learn quickly and contribute to process improvements
- Experience with gas plumbing or assembly processes is a plus
Bonus points
- Background in appliance or mechanical assembly
- Familiarity with gas appliance safety testing
- Leadership or mentoring experience in a production environment

Pay: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour
