Your duties will include service and repair of residential garage doors, garage door openers, and related components. You will interact with customers daily providing them with excellent customer service.
Skills we’re seeking: We are looking for skilled, customer-focused service technicians, mechanics, service technicians, and individuals who take pride working with their hands. The ideal candidate should have experience confidently communicating with customers and provided tailored solutions based on their needs. The right individual should be comfortable interacting with homeowners, explaining repair or replacement options, and recommending the best course of action with integrity and professionalism. Strong problem solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality workmanship are essential.
What you’ll do:
Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair and maintain residential garage doors and openers
Provide effective, on-the-spot solutions
Communicate clearly with customers, offering multiple options and explaining pricing and scope of work
Educate customers on repair vs. replacement options, upgrades, and preventative maintenance
Maintain a clean and organized work environment and company vehicle
Deliver a high-quality customer experience from start to finish
Qualifications:
Prior experience servicing garage doors or related trade a plus but not required (We will train you!)
Prior experience working in a home-service call environment (Related trades can include window/doors, HVAC service, plumbing service, general contracting in a residential setting)
Ability to troubleshoot and think on your feet
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Ability to lift 100 lbs. and work in a physically active role
Self-motivated with a drive to earn more through performance
Clean and neat appearance
Courteous and engaging demeanor. Comfortable with customers.
