Hours would vary (Monday through Sunday) depending on scheduled leagues/programs for the Men's, Women's and Coed Volleyball Programs. Hours would generally be Monday through Friday between 6:00pm and 10:00pm, and Sundays between 2:00pm and 6:00pm. Position would typically be working at Dzantik'i Heeni Middle School and/or Floyd Dryden. Typical Responsibilities This position is responsible for officiating adult volleyball matches for Men's, Women's, and Coed leagues, ensuring games are conducted fairly and in accordance with league rules. Adult Games Officials help maintain a safe environment by monitoring player behavior, enforcing facility and league rules, and stopping play when conditions are unsafe. They are also responsible for opening and closing facilities as needed, assisting gym users with equipment, inspecting the facility for cleanliness and safety, and completing incident or accident reports when necessary. In addition to refereeing, officials act as educators-explaining rules, calls, and proper equipment setup to players and team managers. Other related duties may be assigned based on program needs. Minimum Qualifications Experience: Prior experience in basketball, soccer, and/or volleyball as a scorekeeper, official, coach, or player.Note: All applicants must complete a Parks & Recreation Games Official Application Supplement Form in addition to an Employment Application.
