Job title: Gage and Fixture Builder
Reports to: Foreman
Supervisory responsibilities: None.
Summary/objective: UGS is looking for a Gage and Fixture Builder our team! This position includes machining precision details and assembling fixtures. The ideal candidate would have fixture build experience, good work ethic, and the ability to stay focused on tasks. Training for job related tasks will be made available upon request.
Essential functions:
• Machine details using bridge ports and sawsRequired competency, education, and experience:
• Candidate must have high school diploma/GEDPreferred education and experience:
• Experience in GDT, Welding, Shop Machining, and CAD a plus!Additional eligibility qualifications: None.
Work environment: Manufacturing environment.
Physical Demands:
• Ability to use all limbsPosition type and expected hours of work: Full time. Shifts and schedules vary. 40 hours per week + overtime when workload requires.
Travel: None.
