This position involves managing and supervising athletic activities, contests, and practice sessions to promote student growth in skills, teamwork, discipline, respect, and sportsmanship.
- Collaborate with school staff to plan instructional goals supporting student-athlete development.
- Ensure cohesive teamwork among dance coaches and foster unity with feeder schools.
- Coordinate scheduling of competitions with Athletic Director and Coordinator.
- Enforce student discipline during events, practices, and trips in line with school policies.
- Promote sportsmanlike conduct throughout all athletic activities.
- Maintain open communication through conferences with parents, students, and staff.
- Manage inventory and oversee maintenance of athletic equipment.
- Work under the supervision of the Dance Head Coach, Athletic Director, and Principal.
- Willing to work evenings and afternoons for team activities.
Qualifications include coaching experience, strong sport knowledge, excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, and the ability to motivate students and staff.
