    Description

    Minuteman High School is seeking an Assistant Volleyball Coach for the 2026-2027 school year. The assistant coach will support the head coach leading student-athletes in practices, competitions, and related activities while promoting teamwork, school pride, motivation, and skill development. Major Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement Volleyball plays and techniques.
    • Coordinate the team's practice schedule and attend all practices and games.
    • Prepare the team for games and function as a liaison with other coaches.
    • Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive team environment, promoting team spirit and unity.
    • Mentor and motivate athletes, providing guidance, feedback, and support to help them achieve their goals.
    • Work with school administration to ensure compliance with all necessary requirements and regulations, including safety and liability issues.
    • Communicate with parents and coordinate team events and fundraising activities.

    Qualifications:

    • Experience as a Volleyball player or coach.
    • Strong knowledge of Volleyball techniques and plays.
    • Excellent communication and people skills.
    • Ability to motivate and inspire athletes to achieve their goals.
    • Organizational and management skills, including the ability to schedule and plan practices and events.
    • Familiarity with safety guidelines and regulations for Volleyball activities.
    • Dedication to promoting a positive team spirit and inclusive environment for all team members.

    Additional Requirements:

    Terms of Employment:

    • Stipend Position.

    Effective Dates of Employment:

    • This is a stipend position for the 2026-2027 school year.
    • The person who fills this position will be the contact for any relevant and important information prior to the start of the school year.

    Supervisor:

    • Athletic Director.

    Compensation:

    • The total annual stipend for this position is $1,654.
