Substitute Teachers

American Care Academy is seeking dedicated and flexible Substitute Teachers to join our team immediately. This role is essential in maintaining continuity of care and education when lead teachers are absent. The ideal candidate is nurturing, dependable, and passionateabout early childhood education.   • Step into classrooms and follow lesson plans provided by lead teachers
  • Supervise and engage children (infants through preschool age)
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing environment
  • Support children's social, emotional, and language development
  • Assist with classroom transitions, meals, and playtime
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
  • Maintain daily communication with staff and leadership

Must be at least 18 years of age. High School Diploma or GED required. 1–3 years of experience in a licensed childcare facility. Strong classroom management and communication skills.

  • CDA (Child Development Associate)
  • Degree in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education
