As a Furniture Technician at Pulse Final Mile you will play a key role in delivering a premium white -glove delivery experience for our clients and their customers. This hands- on position focuses on the professional inspection assembly repair and servic e of furniture within the warehouse and inside customer homes. The ideal candidate takes pride in craftsmanship attention to detail and delivering exceptional service. Furniture Technicians ensure products are properly assembled repaired when needed and presented to customers in pristine condition while representi ng the Pulse brand in the eld. Responsibilities • Inspect incoming and outgoing furniture for damage defects or quality concerns. • Perform furniture assembly disassembly and adjustments in the warehouse or customer home. • Perform minor repairs including tightening hardware replacing parts adjusting doorsdrawers correcting alignment issues and performing cosmetic furniture repairs such as scratch removal wood touch-ups color blending and nish restoration. • Conduct in -home furniture service cosmetic repairs including wood ller application stain matching surface polishing and minor nish corrections to restore furniture appearance. • Ensure all work performed meets client specications and manufacturer standards. • Maintain professional and courteous interactions with customers while inside their homes. • Communicate repair or product issues clearly with operations leadership and client representatives. • Maintain proper use and care of tools parts inventory and repair materials. • Assist with product preparation prior to delivery including inspection assembly and quality checks. • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area. • Support warehouse and delivery teams when needed to ensure smooth daily operations. • Uphold Pulse Final Miles service standards and always represent the Pulse brand with professionalism. Requirements • High school diploma or equivalent. • 2 years of experience in furniture assembly repair carpentry or a related eld preferred. • Experience using hand tools and basic power tools. • Experience performing cosmetic furniture repairs such as scratch repair stain matching nish touch-ups and wood ller application preferred. • Ability to color match wood nishes and perform minor cosmetic restoration to meet manufacturer and client quality standards. • Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship. • Ability to diagnose and resolve minor furniture issues including alignment hardware and cosmetic concerns. • Ability to lift move and maneuver furniture safely up to 100 lbs with assistance. • Excellent customer service and communication skills. • Ability to work in a fast -paced environment and adapt to changing daily priorities. • Experience with wood upholstery or leather repair techniques is a plus. • Valid drivers license preferred.
