Job Summary As the Fund Services Business Development Representative Sr., you are responsible for selling UMB Fund Services' outsourced back office solutions and turnkey programs to financial intermediaries in a national territory. Successful incumbents have good working industry knowledge of mutual funds, hedge funds, collective investment funds, ETF's, PE, real estate, interval/tender funds as well as accounting, administration, investor record keeping, distribution and bank custody functions. You must also create and manage a strategic territory plan that results in closing businesses to meet forecast commitments and sales goals.ResponsibilitiesAssessing, prospecting and calling on financial institutions in the mutual fund and alternative investment industriesCross selling company products and services to existing clientsManaging territory to maximize sales resources and revenue opportunities and minimize expensesAnalyzing financial position and operational challenges of prospects to determine sales approachCoordinating with internal resources to ensure professional delivery of sales, marketing and proposal materials to prospectsMaintaining data in Sales Force and providing regular updates to sales directorDeveloping and maintaining relationships with industry/professional organizations and individualsParticipating in user group meetings and trade showsStaying abreast of current industry trends, competitors and all company products and servicesParticipating in onboarding processes along with other internal resources to assure seamless transition for new clientsOther duties as assignedQualificationsYou possess a Bachelor's DegreeYou have at least 7 years of experience in sales for financial services*Remote position, looking for candidates based in or willing to relocate to Texas*Compensation Range$91,950.00 - $196,680.00The posted compensation range on this listing represents UMB's standard for this role, but the actual compensation may vary by geographic location, experience level, and other job-related factors.
