Fund Accountant - Alternative Investment in Boston, MA (Hybrid)

We’re working with a growing alternative investment firm in the South of Boston that is looking to add a Fund Accountant to its team. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career to gain hands-on experience across fund operations and accounting.

This position is a hybrid role and will pay between 80-95K on a base salary depending upon experience and fit plus bonus and 100% paid benefits.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily and monthly fund accounting activities
• Support NAV calculations and investor allocations
• Perform cash and position reconciliations
• Help prepare financial statements and reports
• Assist with audits, capital calls, and distributions
• Work with internal teams and third-party administrators

Qualifications

• 1–4 years of accounting experience (fund accounting, public accounting -  Big 4 preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
• CPA track or interest in financial services a plus
