We are an employer of choice! Here's why:
About the Position
Every day, Washington consumers rely on insurance to protect what matters most-their health, homes, businesses, and financial security. When questions arise or claims dont go as expected, our Consumer Advocacy team is there to help. At the Washington State Office of the Insurance Commissioner, we protect consumers, the public interest, and our states economy through fair and efficient regulation of the insurance industry. As a Functional Program Analyst 3 with the Consumer Advocacy Program, youll serve as a trusted advocate for consumers by independently investigating insurance complaints, interpreting insurance laws and regulations, and working directly with insurance companies to ensure fair treatment. Every case presents a new opportunity to make a real impact in someones life.
This is more than a customer service role-its an opportunity to be part of a mission-driven team committed to fairness, accountability, and public trust. Whether youre resolving complex complaints, educating the public through our Consumer Hotline, or contributing to agency initiatives that improve consumer protections, your work will help strengthen confidence in Washingtons insurance marketplace while making a lasting difference for the people we serve.
