Tesla is driving forward the next generation of robots, electric vehicles, and energy products. With this progress, the demand for power and energy is greater than ever. Rising energy costs, extended lead times, and regulations for power upgrades present challenges for our R&D and production capabilities. To overcome these, we are seeking innovative, cutting-edge technologies and strategies to boost energy efficiency across our facilities and processes. By enhancing efficiency, we aim to increase production and development capacity without expanding energy consumption, achieving substantial energy savings and operational agility.
The Tesla R&D Infrastructure team is seeking a skilled Full-Stack Machine Learning Engineer to join our mission of accelerating the worlds transition to sustainable energy. You will develop in-house tools that automate complex processes and empower our engineers to design faster and operate more efficiently. Youll build scalable data-driven user interfaces that drive Teslas internal designs and operations while shaping a sustainable future. Your work will directly impact Teslas mission by enabling intuitive, visually compelling tools that enhance operational efficiency.
Design, develop, test, deploy, scale, and maintain user-friendly web applications and tools that automate existing design workflows and visualize machine learning experiments and models. Combine multiple data-sources and leverage millions of data points to build robust and scalable end-to-end learning-based systems. This includes training and evaluation code in Python to back-end and front-end work in JavaScript.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software systems into Teslas ecosystem, ensuring seamless deployment and operation. Build dashboards that provide real-time insights into performance, progress, and key metrics for engineers and leadership. Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks related to infrastructure, memory, and runtime efficiency. Present progress at project milestones to stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
