An Adolescent residential behavioral health program is seeking a therapist, to provide individual, family, and group therapy for teens ages 12–17. Therapists manage a small caseload and work closely with the clinical and multidisciplinary teams to support treatment planning, family involvement, and daily clinical care.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing individual, family, and group therapy
- Completing assessments, treatment plans, and safety plans
- Maintaining timely clinical documentation and progress notes
- Participating in treatment team meetings and clinical supervision
- Supporting crisis response and admissions as needed
- Collaborating with nursing, clinical mentors, and operations teams
- Assisting with aftercare and discharge planning
Requirements:
- Active Virginia license or working toward licensure
- Experience working with adolescents or behavioral health populations preferred
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care, CBT, DBT, and family systems approaches
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a residential treatment setting
Compensation: $80,000 – $96,000 annually.
Schedule: Full-time. Tuesday - Saturday - 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM.
