Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) | FT | Nashville, TN
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team in the Nashville area. In this full-time role, the PTA will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality patient care, support rehabilitation goals, and improve overall patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist
- Provide hands-on therapeutic exercises, modalities, and functional training to patients
- Monitor patient progress and report changes or concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, home exercises, and injury prevention
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with company and regulatory standards
- Ensure compliance with all clinic policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
- Prepare treatment areas and equipment for patient sessions
- Foster a positive, supportive, and motivating environment for patients
Qualifications:
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current PTA license in the state of Tennessee (or eligibility to obtain)
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Previous clinical or outpatient experience preferred but not required
Work Schedule:
- Full-time (typically 36–40 hours per week)
