The OR Circulator RN will be responsible for managing the nursing care of patients during surgery, ensuring patient safety, and assisting the surgical team by maintaining a sterile and organized environment. Job Responsibilities:
Collaborate with surgical team members and other healthcare professionals to deliver patient-centered care
Prepare the operating room with appropriate instruments, supplies, and equipment
Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures
Maintain aseptic and sterile techniques
Document all nursing activities accurately in patient records
Educate patients and families regarding surgical procedures and postoperative care
Adhere to hospital protocols, safety regulations, and infection control policies
Education and Certification Requirements:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) License New Mexico or Compact State License
Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification required
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Certification preferred
1+ year of recent OR Circulating experience required
