Full-Time Operations Manager
Lead teams and assist the CEO/President in maintaining department operations to meet financial and sales goals. Build associate and customer relations and promote a strong culture in support of The Costumer’s Strategy.
The Operations Manager will oversee the daily operations across our production studio, fulfillment center, and retail store. They are ultimately accountable for ensuring customer orders are created and delivered on time and at the highest possible standard. The Operations Manager is also the culture leader, ensuring the work environment is professional, collegial, and welcoming for all employees so they can perform well.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead excellent customer service and goodwill by role modeling and providing high standards in customer service and sales building.
Communicate often and well with team, customers, and CEO
Create and maintain effective work schedules to meet production and customer service standards and associates' personal needs.
Review rental orders to ensure limited-supply costumes are in stock for the requested rental period and that special requests can be honored.
Serve as traffic manager to ensure the orders are progressing on time and in “ready to ship” status
Serve as manager on duty when the CEO is off-site, including ensuring CEO/President is informed, managing on-site vendors and performing opening and closing procedures.
Maintain accurate records of production, shrink, sales, supplies, and inventory.
Utilize company tools such as: financial reports, scheduling, productivity, ordering, and business information systems.
Assist in creating and maintaining effective work schedules to meet production and customer service standards as well as associates' personal needs.
Use good judgment in the delegation, assignment, and follow up required for the efficient performance of the department.
Provide real time coaching, feedback, and assist with the performance management process.
Assist in training and developing associates to meet the department needs.
Support department conditions involving appearance, ensuring quality, safety, and safety are consistently maintained at the highest level.
Observe and follow all company policies and established standard practices.
Perform all other duties and projects as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma required. Associates degree or higher preferred.
5+ years of operations management (retail, production, manufacturing, or logistics)
5 years of management or supervisory experience, including scheduling

On-site. Must be located in NY Capital Region near Schenectady.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Perform repetitive grasping, pinching, squeezing and hand/arm motions while standing/walking the majority of the shift.
