Position Overview
The OB Registered Nurse will provide compassionate care to mothers and newborns across labor & delivery and postpartum settings. This facility offers a collaborative, team-oriented culture that supports professional development and skill expansion.
Job Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to obstetric patients throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum
Monitor maternal and fetal well-being, including fetal heart rate monitoring and assessments
Assist physicians and providers during deliveries and procedures
Educate patients and families on prenatal, postpartum, and newborn care
Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
Maintain accurate charting and collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary care team
Promote a safe, patient-centered environment focused on quality outcomes
Schedule & Compensation
Full Time Position
12-hour shifts available
Day shift and Night shift options
Biweekly overtime opportunities
Competitive pay up to $48 per hour

Education & Certification Requirements
Active Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or compact license
Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
BLS certification required
NRP or Fetal Monitoring certification preferred but not required
Only one year of Labor & Delivery experience preferred
Open to nurses eager to learn and grow within OB nursing
Strong communication skills and a team-focused mindset
