Virtua Medical Group is seeking a Full-Time Neurocritical Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Neurocritical Care/Intensive Care Unit (Neuro ICU) team on the night shift. This position is ideal for an experienced APP who is comfortable managing complex neurologically critically ill patients and thrives in a fast-paced environment requiring strong clinical judgment and independent decision-making.
Responsibilities
As a Night Shift Neurocritical Care APP, you will provide comprehensive overnight management of patients in the Neurocritical Care Unit. Responsibilities include:
The night APP plays a key role in maintaining continuity of care, addressing emergent neurologic and medical issues, and supporting safe patient management throughout the overnight hours. This role requires a high level of clinical autonomy while working collaboratively with neurointensivists, neurologists, neurosurgeons, and the multidisciplinary critical care team to ensure timely, evidence-based care and optimal patient outcomes.
Compensation and Benefits
The starting salary for this position is: $163,350.00 (annually). The actual compensation package could vary based on factors such as, but not limited to, the applicants experience, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
