Position Overview
As a Medical Technologist / Clinical Laboratory Scientist, you will play a vital role in patient care by performing high-quality diagnostic testing across multiple laboratory departments. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented MT/CLS who thrives in a hospital environment and values accuracy, teamwork, and clinical excellence.

Job Description

• Perform moderate and high-complexity laboratory testing in hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, microbiology, and blood bank

• Analyze specimens and validate results to ensure accuracy and timely reporting

• Operate, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain laboratory instruments and analyzers

• Follow all quality assurance protocols and perform routine QC in compliance with CLIA and CAP standards

• Accurately document test results in the Laboratory Information System (LIS)

• Communicate critical values promptly and collaborate with physicians and clinical teams

• Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in proficiency testing

• Maintain safe laboratory practices, infection control standards, and regulatory compliance

Education and Certification Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field

• ASCP certification required (MLS, MT, or equivalent)

• 2+ years of recent clinical laboratory experience required

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently while supporting a team-focused lab culture
