Full-Time Mammography Technologist – Near Watsonville, CA

Connected Health Care is seeking a skilled and compassionate Full-Time Mammography Technologist (Mammo Tech) to join one of our premier healthcare partners in Watsonville, California. This role is based in an ACR Designated Comprehensive Breast Center and a Magnit facility, offering access to advanced technology and a high standard of imaging excellence.

Position Overview
The Mammography Technologist will perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures with a focus on breast imaging. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures in accordance with established protocols
  • Ensure high-quality images for accurate interpretation by radiologists
  • Prepare and position patients while providing clear instructions and compassionate care
  • Maintain patient records and imaging documentation accurately
  • Follow radiation safety standards and infection control procedures
  • Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members
  • Inspect and maintain imaging equipment to ensure proper functionality
  • Provide patient education and address concerns regarding procedures
  • Utilize Hologic Dimension 3D mammography equipment
  • Perform procedures using a prone stereotactic table

Education & Certification Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or higher in Radiologic Technology or related field
  • Active ARRT certification in Radiography required
  • ARRT Mammography certification required
  • California state licensure required or eligibility
  • CPR/BLS certification required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in mammography or women’s imaging preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply
  • Experience with Hologic Dimension 3D systems and stereotactic procedures preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and technical proficiency
  • Excellent patient care and communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety
