Duties & Responsibilities 
  • Prepare menu items according to established restaurant recipes and presentation standards.  
  • Ensure all food is cooked to proper temperatures and completed in a timely, efficient manner during service.  
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation, including routine daily cleaning and scheduled deep-cleaning tasks.  
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations at all times.  
  • Assist with inventory management, including stock monitoring and supply ordering as needed.  
  • Support the development of new menu items, seasonal specials, and recipe enhancements.  
  • Collaborate closely with the kitchen team to ensure guest orders are prepared accurately and delivered promptly.  
Required Skills & Abilities   
  • Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen.  
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.  
  • Solid understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper kitchen practices.  
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.  
  • Ability to perform precise, efficient knife work and handle kitchen tools safely and consistently.
  • Must be able to complete the essential duties of the job with or without accommodation.
Physical Requirements 
  • Ability to stand and work in a kitchen environment for extended periods.  
  • Must be able to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar culinary role, preferably within an Italian or full-service restaurant environment.
  • Food handler training is preferred.
Compensation: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
