Position Summary
CMI-HR Facility Solutions is currently hiring a General Warehouse Associate for a warehouse position in Hilliard, OH.
The selected candidate will support daily warehouse operations by picking orders, using a scanner, assisting other departments as needed, and helping maintain a clean and organized work environment.
This position requires someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and flexible with scheduling based on the client’s operational needs.
Job Responsibilities
- Pick orders accurately while standing and walking throughout the shift
- Use a scanner to pick and process orders.
- Follow warehouse procedures and inventory instructions.
- Read small numbers, labels, barcodes, and expiration dates accurately.
- Assist with picking, packing, scanning, and general warehouse duties.
- Use ladders when needed to reach items during picking and packing tasks.
- Assist other departments as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety in the warehouse.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Follow supervisor instructions and company safety procedures.
Requirements
- Must be bilingual (English and Spanish preferred)
- Experience using RF scanners required
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience preferred
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50–75 lbs as needed
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet daily goals
Responsibilities
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately using an RF scanner
- Verify item quantities, serial numbers, and product conditions
- Prepare shipments for carrier pickup
- Maintain productivity and accuracy standards
- Assist with inventory organization and general warehouse tasks
- Keep workstations and warehouse areas clean and organized
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company policies
