Job Summary
Incumbent will perform heavy and light duty cleaning and related maintenance work in assigned area or building complex.
This is a night shift position: Monday - Friday, 1 P.M. - 10 P.M., with a one-hour lunch break.

The custodians perform a variety of duties to help ensure the campus operates smoothly. This may include:
Setting-up bleachers, tables, and chairs for special events, and providing direction and answering basic questions regarding events for patrons
Taking down the set-up and re-setting for another special event
Ability to move heavy items such as tables, chairs, and pushing the bleacher back
Ability to or seek help in repairing equipment and related devices
Using computers to communicate and report data
Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
This position involves lifting and carrying items weighing approximately 90 pounds, bending, stooping, and climbing ladders. Incumbent may work in all weather conditions and move in and around confined spaces. Work may be required in remote and rugged terrain.
On-site work is essential and regular predictable attendance is required. Employees may be required to work at occasional events and handle tasks outside of regular working hours.
Background Investigations:
Employment at College of Eastern Idaho will be contingent upon the successful completion of a criminal background investigation and may require a credit and/or motor vehicle background investigation depending on the position. Please refer to Policy 225: Background Checks
