Position Overview
As Chief Dental Officer at GraceMed, you will:
- Oversee the management and supervision of all dental staff
- Create, update, and approve treatment protocols
- Manage the training of all dentists and answer any questions that come up
- Provide comprehensive dental evaluations and treatment
- Diagnose and manage dental conditions
- Educate patients on oral health and preventive care
- Collaborate with clinical and support staff to ensure quality outcomes
- Participate in clinical leadership and mentorship initiatives
- Support compliance, infection control, and quality improvement efforts
Ideal Candidate
Requirements
- DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
- Active Kansas dental license
- Kansas prescribing authority
- CPR Certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
Preferred Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of dental experience, preference to those with dental leadership experience
- FQHC or community/public health experience preferred
- Passion for serving diverse and underserved populations
