POSITION TITLE: Cashier/Customer Service Representative/Delivery Driver

To perform the duties of greeting customers, helping customers locate products, aiding the pharmacy staff with RX and OTC pickups, calling customers for RX and OTC pickups, and support the pharmacy staff in all store functions, operating by our company core values of:

Technical Work Listing: This position is responsible for the following tactical work:
Customer Service Representative
Immediately Greet and welcome all customers as soon as they walk in
Offer customers Smiles and Solutions
Answer the phone within 2 rings
Say your name when answering the phone
Call all customers back within 24 hours
Gather all OTC products for a customer’s order if needed
Call all customers with a new prescription or if their prescription has a problem or is on order
Accurately process all deliveries, mail prescriptions, and suspended tickets
Accurately process all delivery money that comes back in for orders
Accurately post all payments to charge accounts
Mail all pharmacy charge statements when due
Order OTC products and pull any out-dates as needed
Close out and Count registers on a daily basis
Combine RX bags with same customer names
Accurately give RXs to customers
Help customers in getting OTC products
Order any OTC product that is requested by a customer
Clean the store when needed (vacuuming, sweeping, etc.)
Water all flowers outside
Replace any needed light bulbs inside or out
Replace air filters as needed
Play an active role in marketing incentives and sales goals
Turn radio on and make sure the music is playing throughout the day
Help with vaccinations (refilling supplies, filling out forms, etc.)
Aid in decorating the store for holidays
Perform tasks as delegated by the Store Manager or Cashier Supervisor
Delivery Driver
Greet delivery customers with a smile and be courteous to them
Accurately and efficiently deliver all pharmacy products
Keep a log of when a delivery was made, what was in the delivery, and whom is was given to
Occasionally pick up items needed by the pharmacy at other businesses as needed
Keep a log of miles driven and regular maintenance to delivery vehicle
Schedule regular maintenance to delivery vehicles and make necessary vehicle drop offs to have maintenance done to include cleaning.
Keep vehicle full of gas for the next delivery day
Start deliveries at 10am
Every effort should be made to complete deliveries before 6pm
Keep a close allocation of delivery vehicle keys as to prevent lockouts
Use company cell phone (and keep phone on at all times) for communication with pharmacy department

Smock and name tag should be worn at all times (except Fridays for smock)
Constantly communicate with customers and pharmacy staff about RX and OTC products

All proprietary company info should be kept confidential
Employee should follow HIPAA guidelines
Manager should be notified if there are any unresolved issues
Be on time and ready to work when your shift starts
