Job Description
We are seeking a Full Stack Developer with a front-end focus to support the design, development, testing, debugging, and maintenance of modern web applications in a large enterprise environment. The role emphasizes building reusable UI components with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and ReactJS, integrating with backend APIs, and collaborating with senior engineers to deliver high-quality features. Foundational backend exposure to Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, and database querying is preferred but not primary.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, debug, and maintain front-end features using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and ReactJS.
- Create and maintain reusable, scalable UI components and patterns.
- Build responsive, accessible, and user-friendly experiences using UI/UX best practices.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to refine requirements, designs, and implementation approaches.
- Integrate front-end components with backend services, REST APIs, and data sources.
- Follow agile practices including sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand-ups, demos, retrospectives, and code reviews.
- Communicate progress, blockers, risks, and questions in a timely manner.
- Contribute ideas that improve user experience, engineering efficiency, automation, testing, and delivery quality.
- Use approved AI-assisted development tools for coding, troubleshooting, test creation, documentation, and productivity.
- Review and validate AI-generated outputs for accuracy, security, maintainability, performance, and alignment with standards.
- Follow responsible AI usage practices and handle data and prompts securely.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 2+ years of hands-on software development experience in enterprise settings.
- Proficiency in front-end development: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, ReactJS.
- Experience building component-based UIs and modern web application patterns.
- Ability to deliver assigned tasks with guidance from senior engineers or team leads.
- Working knowledge of a modern programming language and database querying languages such as SQL.
- Basic understanding of UI/UX principles, responsive design, and accessibility considerations.
- Understanding of agile methodologies and familiarity with CI/CD concepts and practices.
- Strong communication skills with a collaborative mindset and openness to feedback and code reviews.
- Experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools and validating AI outputs.
Preferred Skills:
- Backend exposure: Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs.
- Database querying with SQL.
- Integration of front-end applications with backend APIs and services.
- Automated testing frameworks for front-end or full stack applications.
- React ecosystem tools such as Redux, Context API, Next.js.
- Exposure to cloud technologies and AI/ML concepts or AI-enabled engineering practices.
- Experience in large enterprise or financial services environments.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and responsive design best practices.
