The Retail Web Technology (RWT) organization leads the development and maintenance of Schwab''s Digital self-service platform for retail clients - individual investors just like you.

Our team is seeking a talented Senior Full Stack .NET Developer who embraces being technical leader and has a real passion for using state-of-the-art web technologies to build compelling interactive web applications. Our mission is to build robust solutions that achieve measurable value, which empower our clients, in a fun and engaging environment

What you'll do:

As a Software Developer, you will need to be a self-starter who partners well with others. This role is all about getting the job done, so you have a can/will do mentality about all tasks associated with getting phenomenal code out the door. In RWT, we work hard every day to improve the experience for our clients, using cutting-edge technology and creative solutions to hard problems.

What you have

  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Attention to detail and the talent and enthusiasm for producing highly usable and scalable web software solutions using advanced development technologies
  • Proven technical and business communication skills at various organizational levels
  • Confidence solving problems in a dynamic customer-focused team environment that uses the newest technologies and techniques
  • Commitment to regularly improving your technical and professional skills, learning emerging technologies and growing as valued team member
  • 4-5 years of full-stack web development experience, with an emphasis on front-end development
  • Skill with C#/.NET Core development
  • Confidence using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Familiarity with Angular, TypeScript, and client side MV* frameworks
  • Responsive Design and Single Page Applications (SPA) expertise
  • Familiarity with unit testing patterns (TDD/BDD) and methodologies
  • Application performance evaluation and tuning skills
  • Web Accessibility experience
  • Proficiency in creating and consuming RESTful services
  • Knowledge of authorization frameworks (e.g., OAuth 2, SAML, JWT)
  • Understanding of Agile software development principles, including experience participating in a Scrum-based delivery team
  • Familiarity with scripting language/AI tools to automate tasks
